    Default home network techy shit

ive been out foxed, i know theres some clever people on here with CCNA's/CCN P's etc so hopefully someone can tell me where im going wrong.

    i have two routers.

1 is the sky sagem router that has my sky internet credentials

the 2nd is my netgear wndr3700 which connects to the sky router through the WAN port and has the WAN IP of 192.168.0.3 and the LAN IP of 192.168.1.1

i then have a 16 port gigabit switch connected to a LAN port of the Netgear router.

my wireless devices connect to the netgear.

problem is i want to connect to my hp proliant server with windows home server 2011 on using remote web access so i can view my files elsewhere.

ive forwaded the netgear (192.168.0.3) as the DMZ and then forwarded the ports i need on the netgear and can see them open using a web port checker, but i cant connect to the server using web access.

whats the exact way i should be setting up these two routers?

i understand i have to set the sky router as the DHCP and turn DHCP off on the netgear

I had a similar issue accessing my NAS using web access, the default port was set to 9090 or 9091 but for some reason my router (virgin super hub) kept blocking it. I ran a web port scanner and could see the ports weren't being blocked. In the end I used a random port that I knew wouldn't be used (e.g. 24156) and it worked.

Silly question but have you enabled bridging on them? No bridging network wont talk to each other.

Seems a bit complicated for a home network.
