Each to their own but i thought he was the best player out there. Tired towards the end and a few passes did go astray but, for 80 minitues he was absolutely everywhere.

City had a number a good individual performances last night but Yaya stood out most for me.

    Agreed.

If not him, he was shaded by Zabaleta, but Toure was awesome last night. The plan to use Park to nullify him didn't work at all.

Big, strong and good athlete. But not the best technically and his passing is questionable at times, which is why Barcelona sold him. They preferred Mascherano and Busquets who have more ability on ball though not as strong.
Good for Citeh because he has more skilful, technical players around him.

Best player in the league at moment is Van Persie. Don't like him but he is an excellent footballer. Second best is Kompany. Leads by example and rarely makes a mistake.

Also thought Barry and Clichy were excellent. Streets ahead of any of the United lot last night.

He could have played in City's midfield alone and still dominated Man Utd's midfield three.

He played more DM at Barca and has been deployed much further forward at City. Not the type of player that would appear to fill the Barca philosophy at the minute but still a fantastic player.

Agreed that Van Persie and Kompany are having great seasons but i just believe Toure is the most influential player in the league. He would be the first name on my teamsheet.
