I genuinly think he's a better player right now than Henderson ever was at our club. And the longer most people don't notice this, the better!
Without a fucking doubt. Can only see further improvement from him tbh. Read some interview somewhere where he was going on about MoN getting into his head to improve his self confidence, which surprised me a bit as I didn't think he lacked it. Think he has everything else, football wise, to be a class centre midfielder and genuinely believe that he is going to be a regular in England squads in years to come.

Jordan is the reason there is less hype about Colback. He was over-hyped.

Looks like we're winning both times. Jordan was decent, but we got more than he was worth; and hopefully we'll keep the better one in Colback.

because he is massively under rated-
will change if he goes to the olympics though.

actually agree with this- think Quinn and Bruce saw that Colback was playing well and that it was ok to cash in on henderson and build the team around colback instead

Only Sunderland player on the list of 80 the squad will be picked from is Fraizer Campbell. Absolutely amazing how big a secret Colback is.

MO'N was talking about that too-
was jokingly contrasting him with bendtner iirc

came across as Colback just not being able to get into the mind frame that he's just as good as every other pl player he comes up against.
always comes across as a nice la- no fucking stories about being a boyhood man utd fan or whatever and doesnt try to bullshit about being a born sunderland fan

just says he's been here since he was ten and his family were never big newcastle fans anyway (mam supports man utd)

I think MO'N knows he's the man to build the team around- players like him McClean and Cattermole.

Sessegnon too if we can keep him for a year or two more

Did he balls man. Stop jumping on the re-writing history bandwagon.

Its all he was asked about by journos. Constantly.

I don't think anyone is trying to rewrite history. It certainly felt at the time that Bruce was trying to get his price up. Although the point you raise about questions asked by journalist is valid.

I've been trying to find a copy of the 80 man list online without any luck, do you have a link?
