One of the first names on the team sheet- him and McClean have both done brilliantly this season to force themselves into that bracket, Colback arguably more so as there is plenty competition for places in there and he has also done a cracking job at left back when required. Well done Jack lad, good season.

    Agreed.

Thought he was crap the first time I saw him play but he's been outstanding this season and hopefully he'll carry on improving.

Is he good enough though ?

No doubting he has played well for the most part this season ?

    A 'starter' next season ??

Would be an automatic choice for me but at left back rather than in midfield although his style of play (and hair) reminds me more and more of Paul Scholes every week

If he could get half a dozen goals a season he'd be some player. Hasn't received half the credit he deserves from the media etc. Long may he continue to be our little secret!

I think Colback is still miles away from the player he's capable of being. At the moment, he's neat, tidy, joins things up and puts a shift in. Hopefully, over the next couple of years, he's going to mature into a really good player that can dominate a game.

I'd start him next season aye. Hard worker who is decent at winning the ball, calm and composed in possession- if he could add goals to his game he'd be an absolutely top prospect but as it is he is a very good little player to have in the middle of the pitch regardless of who we play alongside him
