Default Short LP tracks (oldies will knar like)

Frustrating when loads of tracks in the 60's and 70's were only around 2 mins 30secs and could have had another verse to take it from a quality tune to brilliant! Same for yous like?

Sometimes a tune doesn't need to be any longer than that.
A lot of The Smiths tunes were around that length.

I've heard many a song which has a really cool riff beginning near the end or outro and then it just suddenly fades out. I just wish it would continue for another minute or so.

Vinyl limits the amount of time to around 45 minutes for an album, so lots of tracks were cut down or left off albums altogether.

And I agree that sometimes its ok for the song to last for longer than the average track. A lot of stuff overstays its welcome though.

I've heard a 'radio-friendly' version of 'I Am The Resurrection' by The Stone Roses before where they fade out before the fantastical instrumental section at the end. Criminal!

Radio edits are criminal. It's always the best sections left out.
