free curry for being a loyal customer

me and the missus went for a curry last week at our local curry house where we go about once every 3-4 weeks. we've got to know the manager and the waiters and always have a little bit of chat with them. last week they asked us if we'd like a free meal on monday 23rd, free food, we just pay for drinks. when i asked him what the ocassion was, was it one of their religious festivals? he said it was to thank loyal customers and to celebrate st george's day
