Default Newcastle qualify for Europe and

the response of one of their fanzines is....

What is amusing about our imminent qualification for European football is the response down the road in Chicken Town which could not be more grudging if the entire population of Albania-on-Wear had been sucking lemons for a week. This is where they thought Niall Quinn’s Magic Carpet ride would have taken them. They have had the investment but they just have not delivered. If, as seems likely, we at least nab sixth place in the Premier League table we will have exceeded the league position achieved by any Sunderland team going back to 1953/54. This achievement you don’t need me to remind you comes a mere two seasons after we returned to the PL following the relegation in 08/09 they celebrated so lustily.
As I look at just how far ahead of them we are in the PL table but also how generally shit Aston Villa have become since Lerner took the cheque-book away from O’Neill and the Mackem liar walked out so abruptly, I can’t help but conclude there is an abundance of karma around our football world at the moment. I know we shouldn’t ever measure ourselves against a club as habitually shit as Sunderland but given the crap patter they have been coming out with for the last 3 or 4 seasons, I think we can indulge ourselves a little bit of smugness right now. However, we won’t be doing anything as lamentably small time as bigging ourselves up as the North East Top Dogs(like two bald men fighting over a comb) as they have been doing over the last few years as we’ve been going through our convulsions

These arseholes brought out dedicated fanzines when we got relegated. They are beyond belief.
Needless to say that editor of that fanzine is not actually from Newcastle like.

I really fucking hate them. Fucking deluded, clueless, mostly fat, thick, stadium-smashing, phonebox-fighting, self-pitying bunch of wankers.

As a whole, some are alllright

With a manager who looks like an American Gameshow host

Horribly accurate though. I hate to say it, but it is.

    Nuff said.
