Liverpool fans do my fucking head in about Hillsborough, yes it was a horrible, tragic episode, but Jesus Christ they don't half milk it!

I am a supporter of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, and I donate to them once per month - even at times when I do not have a lot of money to spare.

However, I must say, I would not have an objection to playing on the 15th. I have voiced this opinion before in a thread I made in 2006 and I would say that opinions were balanced then. It was argued by some that football would seem meaningless and that it would be disrespectful, but I argued that there would be no better way to respect the 96 than sing for them and play for them. After all, what unites us to them is our love for football and for the club.

That is just my opinion though, and from today's thread on Red And White Kop opinion now seems to have gone from balanced in 2006 to overwhelmingly angry about the suggestion of playing.

I do not like the way Alan Davies voiced his opinions though. I think that he could have used more respectful terms than 'that s***' and that is what I would be annoyed with rather than his opinion which he is entitled to.

Don't you have a yearly memorial service on the 15th?

Because it is shit mate. Mawkish shit and it pisses everybody off. Everybody is sick to death of Liverpool's mawkish shit and we don't subscribe to it. I won't say any more than that.

I had to look up 'mawkish'. Thanks, I'll use that from now on.
