    That's a lovely idea, but can we have a bit more time off work to get stuff done?

    It worked at a time when women didn't work and got all their stuff done during the week. Now a lot of us work full time and I'd quite like more stuff to be open on Sundays - dentists, hairdressers, local shops (and not just supermarkets) etc.

    It was like a proper, old-school, sabbatarian Sunday. Pissed down, sat about at home getting my head done in by the in-laws, so decided to take the bairn down the school playground to ride her bike around.
