Hope not, he looked very good before his injury and hasn't really had a chance since. Good back-up player at worst.

    No it hasn't.

A top half position vital and we have the chance to finish ahead of Liverpool.

    Play our best team.

Perhaps he's going to have to use Colback at left back for a few more games, giving Meyler a chance in the middle. Would be surprised to see Gardner dropped though. He retained his place after a stinker against Everton and upped his game significantly v Man City.

Definitely time to evaluate the squad for next season.

We know enough about Cattermole and Gardner now. And Colback has been brilliant.

Meyler and Vaughan should get a few starts between now and the end of the season. As well as Wickham.

We need to know if they are up to the task, otherwise we need to buy in the summer.

Exactly. Hard to see any of them being removed for Meyler. Gardner would be the obvious choice, but he has played badly for a while and retained his place. No way will Cattermole be left out unless he's knackered or suspended.

Think Gardner will play Saturday, then be rested Vs Everton. Give Meyler a go against them. He's a big lad as well so can help out with defending set pieces.

Any word when JOS is back?

That would make sense actually. Meyler might give us the presence against Fellaini that was sorely missing in the cup games.

    Hope so!

Like Meyler, but hasn't had much action since returning from bad knee injuries. Would like to see him go up against Fellaini, who had it all his own way at the SOL.

I'd say it's highly unlikely Everton will be risking Fellaini or much of there first team against us with the FA Cup Semi Final just a few days later, Moyes will field the reserves.
