Re: My last word
Only Mig came out with any credit last night and Sess and McClean showed the occasional flash.
Gardner and Cattermole were pretty poor. Gardner set the tone early on when he charged down the middle with his head down. Instead of freeing McClean who was bursting down the left, he did his usual run in a straight line and was eventually fouled.
Just before their first goal he fannied about when Larsson was screaming for the ball and had a go at Gardner for not passing.
Unless Gardner is playing in an advanced role with a 5 man midfield, he really isnt bringing anything to the team.
I checked Birminghams forums lately and it seems that giving the ball away and not looking up is a common problem. A few accusations of being ball greedy too.
