Default Semi draw after quarters have been decided?

Getting a bit pissed off with this scouse derby the media want for the semis. Not sure how much it's gonna influence/put pressure on the officials in our game. Why can't they do the semi draw after the quarters have been decided?

I'm not. Sorts out MON's team talk really. We've been effectively written off. No more motivation needed shirly.

They never have before, why start now?

It will put no pressure on the officials.

I hope you're right mate, but whether intentional or not, I just think it will be in the subconcious of whoever is reffing & running the lines on the day. I fear any marginal decison that could go either way is likely to go in Everton's favour & it would be less likely to do so if we didn't know that the winners face Liverpool in the next round.

Why we should start now? So that everything appears more objective & there's less chance of the officials being influenced I guess, even if it's to dispell fan paranoia!

I think your being a bit paranoid about it like. The officials might go the other way for some unknown reason, who knows what'll happen tbh like.

Sorry mate but I don't think we can dispel with tradtion just because of one bloke's paranoia

It was great in days gone by when we were in the lower division. If we beat Barnet we have Arsenal at home. Fantastic day out. Sunderland 0 Barnet 1.

(I know that didn't happen but you get the gist)

I am guessing if the winners played Newcastle the talk would be about a Wear/tyne derby in the semi final
