'Shite' should be reserved for away followings such as Wigan's.

Everton are a great club, with great support and a fantastic tradition.

Why people have a pop at Wigan's support is beyond me. They are sandwiched between Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool and Everton. Wigan is a traditionally Rugby League town. The people who follow Wigan are to be admired rather than sneered at by people who think they follow a big club.
