It was, Sunday game IIRC, there was a section in the Roker where you got in cheap, we beat Watford 3-0 I think, Byrne scoring the first when David James dropped a cross at his feet.

First time was in the 1980s. That's the last time I was on the dole and used mine to get in the Roker. We knew about the match and told the dole we'd lost our cards and got new ones to give out to the working lads

Just checked on statcat it was Saturday 2nd November 1991 we won 3-1 with Byrne getting 2 and Armstrong the other.
