Great to see fans from all over the country united in their compassion for Patrice Muamba. This shows the power of the game to bring people together for the right reasons and the common good. Following hard on the heels of genuine fans' disgust at Liverpool's cynical support of Suarez, this is great to see, as is the criticism of Tevez's total lack of professionalism in his complete disregard for Manchester City and their fans.
Ordinary, decent folk have joined together to offer love and support when needed and together they have criticised when that criticism has been well and truly deserved! Maybe, after all, football is a force for good, not evil!
