    Default Great shift but......

    McClean's miss was shocking.
Oh, and Mon needs to remember he's leaving a hugely influential player on the bench. That game was crying out for David Vaughan ffs.

I agree. Vaughan would have made a huge difference today.

I'd perhaps have brought him on with Colback, hauled off Catts, and kept Bendtner in.

McLean needs to learn how to use his right foot.

I'm amazed at how many Premiership players aren't essentially ambidextrous. Seems to me that every player at this level should be.

I thought our big problem today was Gardner. His choices on the ball all game were terrible. Would have had him off for Vaughan early second half.

But that miss to make it 2 - that would have finished the game. To go from that to the red in a few minutes............

It was a terrible miss. If we had scored that, Sess mightn't have been annoyed enough to lash out.

I also think Vaughan should have come on but I think the red also changed MON's mind. He had to bring on Campbell for a bit of pace, and then that used up an extra sub. Though I'm surprised he brought on Colback ahead of him. Colback did well enough though.

Love Vaughan and was hoping to see hi instead of Colback, but it must be due to lack of games that he didn't get on. Should now have a chance to get some games with the suspensions etc.

Vaughan should never have started and then played so long for Wales, maybe he suffered because of it.

We had too many midfielders walking a tightrope when we were already down to 10 men, they couldn't risk us going down to 9 by being late into a tackle.

I think it was trickier than it looked on first glance. Should have got more pace on the ball, but he was afraid of ballooning it.
