Default Things for bairns in rain

Looks like it's going to piss down tomorrow and I had planned a nice walk and picnic with the 4yr old and 16mth old at Hamsterley...what can we do instead? (Looking for places to go...)

Staying in isn't an option as I refuse to stay in with people watching the match when I can't give it my attention.

    No indoor play either.

Both really good answers. I'll add them to the list.

Not sure mate - if I'm going to be honest I was being a bit a bit of a flippant arse (ie if you wanted to avoid them getting wet, go swimming...sorry!), but actually could be a decent alternative!

I didn't get it, maybe some work on your delivery is needed.

Still, I fancy swimming now but not somewhere where I'll catch Syphilis - which probably rules out all public swimming pools.
