    Default Orange Contract!!

    Mobilefuckingphones!

Quite a long story i can get into it if needs be.

But basically i need to get out of my contract. Is the only way out to pay the early buyout fee.

My phone is now knackered and i don't want to continue paying for it 35 quid a month if ive no phone to use.

They have said they won't replace it, fix it as its hasnt got an orange logo on the thing.

What are my options? Anyone on here got any experience with the legal side of things?

    Cheers

3 Still try getting money off my brother from his contract 3+ years ago which he didn't do anything wrong over.

If they have broken t+c's then just stop paying, nout they can do about it. If you are in the wrong, then i suggest you pay.

Edit: Just read the edited bit, ask them for a new one? Don't you have insurance?

Barry Siddall will be able to help, but he'll need to know the full story, even if it is really long.

I don't (it would cost me 75 pound to replace the phone on amazon as a unlocked one) But its a shit phone thats been shit from the start. The battery doesnt hold the charge etc etc.

well it annoyed me how orange increased my bill with a months notice and are all on the defence about it like.

Had a lot of bother with them mischarging me etc lately so i want shot of them if possible.

I'd be quite happy to cancel the direct debit it my credit rating wasnt going to take a massive hit!

I presume Orange won't fix it as it sounds like you didn't buy it from them. The retailer you bought it from should.

Unless you smashed it, in which case you're a daft knacker and haven't got a leg to stand on.

If they've been charging you more without telling you before hand with no explanation, then you have a case to cancel the contract.
