well my cousin eventually got her iphone, i have it here now , tbh i think its shit !!, looks good, feels good, screen is great, why so difficult to put on a custom ringtone? why cant you just go in to options & set as ringtone like android? i have been trying all night to put a ringtone on for her but cant, another prob is when she calls someone they can hear her fine but she can hardly hear them at all, the sat nav is nowhere near as good as the free androind navigation, is there a flash with the camera? cant believe the problems & shes looked everywhere for a fix to the caller volume issue, apparently its a problem with these phones

got a feeling it will be on ebay by tomorrow

Maybe buy a later model? The iPhone 3 has been around about 3 year now. You cant set custom ringtones from iPhones, you need an app, its a bit fiddly. Tell her to sell it and buy an iPhone 4/4S...

Its a 3gs, and of course you can set custom ringtones.

Create the ringtone or download from audiko.net, copy to iTunes and sync. Works on all models, doesn't need to be jailbroken

Call volume - sounds like speaker fucked. U have tried turning the volume up while in call? I had one of these and it never had that problem

Camera on 3gs has no flash

Jailbreak it and install copilot for satnav

i gave it back to her, the screen on these phones are fucking great, thing is (well i found anyway ) its a reet chew on doing anything on this phone , itunes is a fanny on & still cant hear anyone when they call , works fine on bluetooth, the free google sat nav on android stomps allower the iphone, although everything loads faster on the iphone rather than my android, one thing, i will miss sky go app, other than that excellent phone but to much of a fuck on to do the basics , ah well back to my android
