I just can't see him going, MON type of player, I get the feeling if MON wants you, you ain't going anywhere.

I've rated Richardson since day one, even at left back. I think we should look to give him an extension.
He has given us no bother off the pitch, played consistently well (IMO) on it and chips in with the odd few goals every season.

I know he is regarded as one of our highest earners but IMO he should at least be offered a new contract with a pay rise in recognition of his time, attitude and performances here.

I am a fan but it could be a masterstroke if true. To be fair to Kieran he has flattered to deceive a bit over the years being a bit inconsistent. He has now put 4 or 5 good performances in and the good press could inflate that value a bit. MON clearly isnt sure as he bolstered Left Back by signing Bridge so it could be the right time to cash in given the timing contractwise.
