What a legend, i fear to think where we'd be without him

Lets just hope we never again get so fucked up that we need someone like him to rescue us again.

The best man to be associated with my football club in my 31 years on this planet.

A pivotal player on the pitch, and a vital person off it. Without Quinn we could have been a Forrest, or a Leeds, or a Southampton... or even a Portsmouth. Instead, we're an established Premier League side on the up.

He believed in our club at a time when many didn't, and his believe brought people to the cause that should ensure that the post-Quinn Sunderland will remain in great shape.

A 100% cast-iron Sunderland legend. Good luck in your next venture big man, and enjoy your family time. You've more than earned it.

Concurred. I'd love to see the club make him honourary chairman or something.

Well said. I'd like to echo that and retract the City comment (unless of course he does go to City in which case my best wishes stand)
