I know there's plenty who won't care but i think he brings something to the squad that others don't and i would rather trust MON's judgement over theirs.

Very good question - hopefully the clause stated something like - as long as both sides are in the competition...........

I thought he could just not against his club and in the first two rounds he was injured

He isn't cup-tied, if that's what you mean, he's been with us all season. Obviously he wouldn't play against Arsenal even if he was fit.
