Default Give Larsson a rest on saturday?

Would anyone contemplate giving the lad a rest on Saturday? he's looked tired these last few games and his form has dipped because of this.

Bring him back for the cup game next week refreshed and raring to go.

    Thoughts?

I agree. Been a bit off form but fuck me he covers some ground! Pled entry surprised at his overall play and work-rate.

I'd rather play an out of breath Larsson than Elmo.

On a serious note if I were to rest him would switch Gardner to RM and bring in Meyler.

I think we need him against Arsenal as Campbell and Sessegnon's speed will cause the slow Arsenal CBs to foul and free kicks could win it for us.

    I disagree

He was happy enough at the final whistle...on the pitch..with the rest...
Why do people think playing mid week isn't helping players...they'll tell you they're happy with it..

He played those two Sweeden qualifiers this season too so the guy has been going flat out since start of season....If he can get through dis sat tho he'll have a week before next game so should be fine by then again but yeah this weekends game could def be a time to give him a breather. Players do come back better after a break
