How did people see Seb's performance yesterday. Think he looks tired at the moment and hasn't been as involved in games over last 2 or 3 but thought he was very poor yesterday. Only problem is he is the only player who can deliver decent set pieces so do we have to carry him through games just for that until he comes out of a lull in form?

He made a grand little last ditch tackle that probably kept us in the Cup.

if seb needed a rest, we should maybe try gardner on the right - he can play right back so i'm sure right mid would be within his capabilities.

games are coming thick and fast at the moment so we will need a certain amount of squad rotation.

    This.

Also every free-kick he whips into the box goes close.

Probably first name on the team sheet before sess IMO.

This. He's invaluable, and he always runs his heart out. He needs a decent right back behind him to do his leg work. He's still a regular match winner for us, there's only Sess who's more important at the minute imo.

Thought Larssons workrate yesterday, and most other games, was tremendous. Does a hell of a lot of covering back and that last-ditch tackle was only one of the occasions he was right back in the box helping out. His set-pieces were below par (for his standard) yesterday but for me he's one of the first names on the teamsheet and not just because of his set-pieces. I think he's under-appreciated for the workrate he does.

Great post fully agree. Surely yesterday's below par showing hasn't turned everybody into Blue Square potential? MON has made us finally believe we are moving in the right direction, and we definately are. Don't let one slightly sub-standard performance cloud our judgement.
