    Try clearing your browser history & cache and then try clearing your Flash cache/local storage. (Start Control panel, Flash Player on xp)

    Does it lag for every stream including the low quality ones?

    Worth having a peek at the FAQ also

    (Nee idea if the PS3 plays direct from the web or streams via a pc/laptop)

    You could be on a latent connection, you can have decent bandwidth but still have problems with latency.

    Open a command prompt on your PC and type :

    ping www.flashsportstreams.tv and press ENTER

    The 'time' section is the amount of time it takes to send and receive a packet. Anything over 150 ms and you'll be struggling.

    Pinging www.flashsportstreams.tv [176.31.227.164] with 32 bytes of data:
    Reply from 176.31.227.164: bytes=32 time=45ms TTL=53
    Reply from 176.31.227.164: bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=53
    Reply from 176.31.227.164: bytes=32 time=35ms TTL=53
    Reply from 176.31.227.164: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=53

    Ping statistics for 176.31.227.164:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 35ms, Maximum = 61ms, Average = 45ms

    I've never been able to work out what TTL means. I've read about it a few times now, but simply "don't get it".

    Similar to the problem I'm having, normally about the last quarter of the game it plays in about 2sec frames.
    I've tried clearing all the crap off of it but still no joy, it is a net book I watch it on not sure if that might be a factor,
    any help or advice would be much grateful.

    have you got the super hub, if so enter the hubs settings by typing this http://192.168.0.1 into your browser search bar.then enter advanced settings. Then look on the left hand side for services and then make sure you untick firewall features, port scan detection and ip flood detection, this sorted mine out.

    2% loss isn't all that good mind :-S

    You've turned your router security off

    TTL=time to live.

    In laymans terms the amount of time before the ping is determined dead.
    Small times Evans th response was well within the timeout and speed is good.

    Packet loss is not a good sign. Retransmissions of packets occurs depending on the protocol used. Could be a blip, could be an issue with the path somewhere...

    Yep,. know what it stands for, and have read countless articles.

    Still have no clue what it actually means.

    Edit: Its the number of hops before the packet dies.

    Who sets the ttl to start with then?

    TTL just stops packets of data infinitely traversing a network - in this case, the internet. In your case, after 53 hops (after the packet has been passed through 53 routers) it will be discarded.
