    Default Lost hearing in ear

    left ear

    can't hear out of it very well

    had man flu, cold, flu, cough for about 2 weeks now

    lungs feel awful

    is it related to that? or do i need to go to the doctors to get it checked?

    its really annoying now

    tried everything to get it back 100% drops, syringing etc nothing worked.

    It could be related to it.

    I've had a cold for a while and my ears were blocked up. Sudafed (the proper stuff from behind the counter) seemed to sort them out.

    See a doctor, anyway.

    Don't use Q-tips, or cotton buds, or whatever you call them. Its probably just a wax build-up and should clear on its own. I had exactly this the other week. See a doctor if worried, it may be an infection.

    See a doctor. One of my relatives had something similar and had to have something removed from his ear. Deaf permanently in that lug now but could have been worse. He posts on here, maybe he will see this and can offer some advice (his name is brama777 if you want to PM him).

    Ask for the stuff with pseudoephedrine, the sudfed you can buy in the supermarket is shit (unless you take 2-3 times the recommended dose)

    i thought there would be some sort of membrane covering the ear somewhere?

    that just looks like a big hollow space?
