Would he get a regular game for us? Who would we leave out?

Pleased he didn't pick our pocket today

    Shit, forgot about that.

This make believe game of football has me all over the shop.

Anyway, I imagined Swansea with Drogba playing up top. Drogba picked up an imaginary groin strain and they had to replace him with Danny graham.

    We still won.

I'm bemused if people cannot see that's what we've been doing since MoN arrived and especially against sides like Citeh and Swansea who pass the ball for fun. Obviously our ball retention wasn't as good as it might be, but our quality on the break was often quite decent.
Neither can I! I think people must think its just luck the way things have turned around.

You really didn't think that through.
Generally the goals are considered the best bits. Not sure how you don't seem to grasp that.

Proving your assessment of Bruce's signings to be utter bollocks?

Genuinley haven't seen a team execute the sort of system we play so well and so consistently apart from Mourhino's Milan when they won the Champion's League. I loved watching the tactical workings of it then and I love that our team play it now. Just as hard to play as posession football too. Intense concentration and effort required, and demands being clinical when you get the chances you do. Real joy to watch for me.

Much as Bendtner is a frustrating player we missed him a lot when he went off.

Also McClean didn't have the best of games holding the ball up. So it came back at us all match.

Horses for courses....we kept our shape and scored two excellent goals.

No doubt Swansea played better football but it wasn't a game like out home game against Blackpool last season where we missed chance after chance and lost to a couple of sucker punches.

Ha, not at all - I was in favour of many of them, including Wickham who you continually suggest I wasn't, despite evidence on here proving I was. Lets see who MoN moves in and out though before getting too cocky though eh?

Actually though my thoughts on them were with Bruce as manager, where I didn't think we had enough pace or quality in midfield/attack, which was proven to be correct. I thought that because Bruce here relied on players of quality, in a system which either worked or didn't and had no consistency about it and this season it lacked that quality. Whereas MoN can organise a team, getting the basics right and working to more than the sum of its parts, something Bruce has rarely ever managed.

I'm just happy we've moved on. Think you should move on too.

We work the ball into dangerous areas often enough to cause people problems, that's what the games about. They managed it once today and deserved to lose. Bollocks to all the pundit crap in the media, they'll cheer them all the way back to the Championship.

Oddly enough we missed the two chances that really carved them open.
