Built from disaster
A series on discoverY science, any body seen it? There's 5 altogether and it shows how we have taken previous disasters into building today's trains, tunnels, ships, skyscrapers and football stadiums, I've series linked them and found it fascinating on a few levels, firstly learning about a lot of disasters and how a combination of things seem to cause them, secondly how they learn the lessons and look at ways to avert them happening again
