Is this being made harder than it should be.

Get there early find a vacant spot that you think will be in the line of the camera, stick the flag up.

There's plenty of videos/photos of Podgy doing it.

    Podgy tribute
that is an absolutely outstanding tribute. fair play to george, to be remembered so warmly and sincerely by friends, family, peers and strangers alike is really something.

you know what would be cracking imo - get a replica of the podgy roker/howard arms flag he was synonomous [sp?] with and have it put up along the part of the stadium where all the branch flags are permanently display, not flags boards but you get what i mean.

not sure if the club would let us do it free or if not how much it would cost but im sure we're all willing to stick our hands in our pockets for it to be sorted.

guess ive joined this thread too late to make owt difference with regards to which game but was going to say it seems like the boro match will be alot emptier ground than a league game so maybe covering the stadium with flags then would be a decent idea. will be in the north stand if any needs help that day, cannit make swansea

Just need a time and place to meet? As a suggestion 2.30 by the North Tunnel (bottom left of the North Stand where the ambulance would come out) would be good, as the stewards are used to me grabbing the surfer from there?

Meet 1.30 ish to aim to get in for 1.45.

Best to get everything sorted early before the kids pile in to watch the lads train pre match.

If u have some duct tape then bring it with you- every bit helps.

I will pop ours behind the goal and the next pitch towards the east side to be left free please for the South Shields lads- as they always put theirs there.

Will then work our way around towards the East Stand.

And Oscar- I will get your flag from Martyn!
