    Default Best football chants

Following on from the worst football chants thread.

My 2 favorite chants are for players who arent here anymore.

    Ohhhhh Da Silva
    our defender
    from Paraguay
captain of his country, and we got him on a free
hes better than Rio and hes better than Terry
    ohhhhhhhhh Da Silva

    and

    Christian Riveros, Riveros, Riveros
he passes with precision, precision, precision
    Christian Riveros, Riveros, Riveros
hes our midfield magician, magician, magician
    ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I like the European style chants, countries such as Germany always seem to have better chants than us. Anyone who has seen Youtube clips of St Pauli fans will know what im talking about.

Shame we never got to really do the Riveros one.

The Da Silva one was obviously rendered a bit pointless when everyone clicked on that he wasn't actually Paraguay's captain either. Not that being factual incorrect seems to stop us most of the time.

Aye it's not as if we are actually by far the greatest team the world has ever seen, and it's not as if Elmo can actually beat his man like no one can

If you watch one of the St Pauli vids on Youtube there is a chant which is to the tune of Karma Chameleon by Boy George.

Allez allez allez allez allez allez St Pauli
oh St Pauli, oh St Pauliiiiiiiii

    I quite like it

I have heard it before. I was just saying I like it and that video is the best one ive seen of that song being sung.

But he had been once or twice, which is enough.
