    Default Gabriel's restaurant

Has anyone had a decent meal there ? Been three times and always disappointed. Every dish smothered in sauce.

Three times over a fifteen year span of time. Always seems busy so there must be redeeming features, I'm curious what they are?

Last time I went there the food was ok. It should be cheap and cheerful. However the waitress they had on was the most miserable fucking restaurant staff I've ever met. Never muttered a single word. The owner took the order. Then she just came and plonked everything on the table. Didn't even say anything when asking for the bill.

    The old sow.

It's really poor like, probably the worst Italian I've had in Sunderland and it wasn't the cheapest.

I am baffled how it always seems to be busy.
