Reyna had a couple of world class performances for us in between injuries - Blackburn away and v Leicester. Width of a post away from an 'out of the box' hat trick as well as dominating the game.

Henderson was on the line. AJ curled it from outside the box.

All the players who took Chelsea apart, they work amazing together. Everything just clicked. To think we all expected a spanking and when they got away with that red card I expected it to be a shot day

Phillips at Bury ( scoring 4 in a game is a decent return!)

Was just going to say that.
2nd Div, fair enough. But a memorable performance.

Totally unrelated to the thread title, of course.
But best personal performances AGAINST us would have to incluse two in the same game.

    v Aston Villa, League Cup.
    Atkinson and Bosnich.

You're obviously my era as I remember all these games - all class performances.
In all my years - first game 78 - Brady v West Ham in 89, stands out a mile. Made all the more special as I'd bought the home shirt on the day of the match and had it on.
Also, Clive Walker in the first half v Man United in 84 or 85. 3-2 at half-time.
As for games against us - how about Cantona v us, in the Cup replay in 1996?
