Is there any point in getting one of these if you already have a laptop? What sets them apart, etc.

    Cheers.

You'd end up using it more often.

Rather than setting your laptop up etc you'd just unlock your iPad.

If you have money to burn get one, if your strapped don't.

To be fair mate I was in the same boat and asked the same question on here.

I went and bought one and now I barely even turn on the iMac. For me, the iPad is almost enough for me to not even bother with a proper computer.

Just seems like a laptop that can't do quite as much as a laptop can for me. Or a less portable iPhone without the phoning function.

    Cool though apparently.

Can be very quickly and discreetly pushed under the couch/bed if for instance, the good neighbours news gentleman comes to the door while watching a special interest documentary.
