The possible premier League Bosman 11 this summer.
GK: Jussi Jaaskelainen
LB: Maynor Figueroa
CB: Gary Cahill
CB: Ledley King
RB: Jose Bosingwa
LW: Ryan Giggs
CM: Danny Murphy
CM: David Hoilett
RW: Saloman Kalou
ST: Dimitar Berbatov
ST: Didier Drogba
Subs:Mark Schwarzer, Sylvain Distin, Fabio Aurelio, Martin Petrov, Tomas Rosicky, Kevin Davies, Nicolas Anelka(already gone).
Got this from NewsNow, would you have any of these in come the summer on bosman's?
I'd go for both keepers hoping we got one, due to Gordon most likely being away. I'd probably go for Fig. I would also definately go for Kalou, and maybe Kevin Davies, these are all quite realistic, but if i was being unrealistic i'd go for others such as Bosingwa and Drogba, which just isnt going to happen.
Opinions?

Hoilett is the best option there. Also, Aurelio is a decent attacking full back, and I'd not be disappointed to see us sign someone like Petrov as a squad player.

Yep, i know but i think the top 5 clubs will be in for him, i see it as just too unrealistic.

He'll probably end up somewhere like Spurs. Distin is another canny, solid option there by the way. We're more likely to have a chance of signing him, Aurelio, Petrov...players like that with their sort of wages. Basically, ones on the "subs bench".

Re: The possible premier League Bosman 11 this summer.
Jaaskalinen is shite and Schwarzer is too old/too similar in ability to what we already have, so no thanks to those two.
As for the rest I'd definitely want us to keep tabs on the likes of Kalou, Hoilett, Rosicky and possibly Distin. The rest are either too old (Davies, Giggs), too injury prone (Petrov, Aurelio) or just not very good (Figeuroa).

Agree, Distin would be on canny wages i reckon though, definately have Aurelio that would be a great signing.

Murphy is a consistent regular starter for a side that has repeatedly finished in the top half. Rosicky barely gets a look in and has been plagued by fitness issues. Looks half the player he was a few year ago.

Is Gordon not available for a Bosman?
Surely he deserves a place in the first 11, never mind the subs bench!
