    Default Premier League Decision Table

    http://www.debatabledecisions.com/

Before today, Stoke have benefited from 15 incorrect decisions this season, almost double the next nearest (Bolton on 8) and our lovely neighbours Newcastle on 7.

It's only fair to add on the 2 they've got today from Wolves when Woodgate should have been sent off and they scored from a free kick that never should have been.

Benefiting 17 times already this season from wrong decisions, and to think Pulis has the cheek to complain about referees

We've had 5 for us, and 5 against us.

Interesting to note Arsenal and Everton are on -5, and WBA on -4.

Just goes to show that referee's poor decisions are costing clubs lots of points and millions of pounds in the process, yet they get away with it time and time again.

According to Football Focus, if we had scored every time we have hit the post this season, we would be level on points with Manchester City.

Downing has hit the post 3 times.

If you've had 5 for and 5 against how has it cost you anything?

I think it's unrealistic to expect officials to get everything correct- we don't expect it of players after all.

Also, a lot of the 'decisions' made on that site, in retrospect are split or fairly dubious.

By awarding other teams penalties/free kicks/allowing 11 men to remain on the pitch/handball etc has helped teams gain wins/draws. This then gives them undeserved points.
Then the league places teams with the most points gained (fairly or not) in order. So any team that has un-fairly gained say 5 points this season then has a better chance of finishing higher up the league than a team who hasn't.

Hope that has cleared it up for you.

But 5 points for and against, affecting one team means they are equal and back to 0 :P
