    Long balls to Carroll/Zamora and Crouch upfront.

    Tbf he's done a brilliant job at Stoke, i thought they'd struggle this year but once again proving most wrong.

    When they were only just above us on 12 points from 12 games, I really thought they could be dragged into the relegation battle. I was wrong - they've been very good since (rode their luck at times, of course)

    On the basis that we can't match Spain, France, Germany etc with the ball on the deck, there's an argument for saying it would be the only way we could lift any silverware.
