    Can only get it in a can down here so making some now, how much water per split pease is it again? double? Cheers in advance, BTW I have had them steeping in a bowl for a day!

    Never mind everyone telling him he can buy it - I can't.

    Looked at loads of recipes online and none come close to what I know as pease pudding - most of them don't even use ham FFS!

    Anyone with a tried and tested recipe for proper pease pudding?

    Put some kind of ham in a slow cooker with some water and some split peas, leave it on for ages, like overnight or something. Sorted.
