Default Finishing above the mags again.

Trail them by 15 points but with their long term defence injury problems and the arrival of Martin O'Neill at Sunderland do any of you belive we can finish above them again?

    No chance.

They havent become shit during the last three games, only came against better opposition. What took them this far will continue to work against the teams around them.

People are getting carried away already. O'Neill would do well to get us finishing 10-14th. Newcastle have built a decent team. With the start they've had, can't see them finishing outside the top ten. Probably around 8th.

Finishing above Newcastle seems to be all some people are concerned about. Fair enough it's nice when it happens but it shouldn't be what defines our seasons.

O'Neill has to steady the ship this season and that's it. Push on for a top ten finish next season. A cup run would be canny too.

Fat chance and all credit to them for their start.
