Geordie Texter on Real Radio: "If Martin O'Neill takes the job he'll have more turkeys to clear than Bernard Matthews"

Got to admit, that's quite hilarious.

If I had to chose 4 to get rid of it would be:

    Cattermole
    Bramble
    Gordon
Colback (Loan him to get experience)

    Yours?

He really won't. There are 1 or 2 he won't want but the squad is decent but lack a bit of quality in centre mid and upfront.

He's too injury prone and Mignolet has started to prove himself, even Westwood has put in a few good performances, especially v. Man Utd.

Tbh, I would just release them or keep them out on loan.
Release because they're not that good.
Keep on loan because it's all money! ;)

Colback needs more experience in the Championship or at a team like Wigan.
IMHO, he's just not going to fit into MON's side.

Four to get rid of? Nosworthy, Angeleri, Kilgallon, McCartney, easy.

Of the four you mention, Gordon is our best keeper, Bramble's our second best defender, and you're going to get rid of Cattermole and Colback? And what happens when Vaughan, Gardner or Meyler get injured?

Bramble just brings shame to our club.
