    Default i am not a christian

    some of you may recall my dilemma when my son was at nursery and he had a nativity play and i dint want him to be in it


    well he now goes to a COE school and he came home today and told his mummy that the firestation in his class has been turned into a stable


    for baby jesus
    angels and a donkey

    when asked if there were any wise men he said "yes mummy 61 of them"


    i dont know whether to laugh shit or cry tbh

    There's no harm in this kind of thing. COE schools are 'moderate' in their teaching of such things. If your son is a bright enough lad, which I'm sure he is, then he'll be able to make up his own mind.

    It's the Creationist schools that I object to.

    my daughter went to a CoE school. She was never christened and remains completely unreligious to this day.

    about quarter of the kids at her school were muslim pakistani / bangladeshi so it's not like they were force fed the baby Jesus stuff

    Unless your son is a complete retard he won grow up believing in Creationism. I had a nativity when I was at primary schools (7 years ago) and I loved it.
