    Default Martin O'Neill

Could he be our Bobby Robson when he joined Newcastle in '99?.

He was exactly what they needed a talismanic man who lifted the club.

No! He'll knife the club in the back not vice versa.

    This is what I thought.

Remember at the time that many (not just SAFC fans but in the press) thought that Robson was past his sell by date.

Although he steadied the ship and didn't really make an impact until he had been there for a couple of seasons, the Mags could tell progress was being made.

If O'Neill had half the impact I'd be delighted.

I am not completely oppossed to o'neil. But if he wants the job he must explain himself for rejecting the chance to managed us TWICE before. No true mackem would do that.
