    What awful news.

    RIP Gary.

What terrible news, god bless his children.

We're baffled by this, what on earth must be going through their minds right now.

    A sad, sad loss indeed.

I'm raising my glass of red to him now.

Absolutely stunned, how sad, on the outside looking so confident and bullish regarding the Welsh national team on the BBC yesterday, apparently laughing and joking with friends all day yesterday, then taking his own life a few hours later. Frightening. God knows what pushed him over the edge, so very, very sad. Terrible. RIP.

Listening to Savage on radio 5 now is really bringing it home.

He had a family, level headed, popular - seemed to have everything going for him. That's so often said with these things - they had everything going for him - makes it all seem unbelievable that it could happen.

    Puts everything into perspective.

Gary was a client of mine, I booked him on the after dinner circuit and Roughy worked with him a few times too.
We are both upset for his family and friends. He always seemed so personable and was always a gentleman to work with.
    R.I.P Gary

Just been talking to Mrs MG about this, and without going into much detail she has suffered from severe depression in the past and what she was saying is that these things are planned, it's not a spur of the moment thing.
