Dread and panic is starting to set in with me at this point. I remember we played well and were unlucky at the start of that season but once that rut set in it was game over.

Just don't know how it is them mag kernts get all the good luck for the north east, we seem to get the opposite. Surely karma's gotta pay off for us one of these days, why do them classless bastards seem to profit from it?

The mags were a bit fortunate yesterday but the goal against was fortunate.

First half we deserved more yesterday, we peppered them. But in the second half we were hapless. If your shape is right, your players are well drilled, the players have a shared belief and the manager inspires, cajoles and berates where necessary then the luck will follow. Right place, right time etc..

We appear to have a manager who looks to the heavens for inspiration. There's either a counsellor and life coach on the roof of the SOL or Bruce is so desperate he's aching for the omnipresent to soar like a salmon and thud one into the goal.

BECAUSE YOU MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK TO A CERRTAIN EXTENT.
we could start by assemblinga squad with a lm and a lb and 2 up front. take of all the full backs at 1-1 and is it bad luck that we concede

Right around New Year's. Had beaten Liverpool right before Christmas when Proctor came on and scored with pretty much his first touch. But shortly after, we blew games late against Southampton and Manchester United, and the air just went completely out of the balloon.
