Default Free food at Victoria gardens!

Mate was telling me that they do free food there on a Monday. Anyone know what the catch is? Can't be worth it for the pub!

Depends on the food I'd have thought.

Pilgrim on Fawcett street used to put free sandwiches, chips, cheese & pickeld onions etc out on matchdays & the gaffer reckoned that cost next to nothing compared to the extra punters he got in spending money.

its normally pie and chips / veg or something similar. They also used to do a mixed grill for a quid, the only "catch" is you have to buy a drink.
