Meyler
Did well.
Didn't give the ball away once. Fearless and wasn't afraid to tackle. Got stuck into Rooney. If he can avoid injury, he will be a big player for us this season.

Done ok when he came on, getting close to a first team start IMO. Meyler over Colback for me.

Fair play to him still throwing himself into tackles after his awful injuries.
The jury is still out on him, but he certainly seems to be a brave lad with a good attitude, and that counts for something. |
