    Default Public Sector sickness levels

What are they so high compared to the private sector? Is it yet another scam they have?

Good luck to them, it's a canny perk.

I might pose as a doctor and get me some of that.

just went to a retirement do of a bloke at work recently( public sector) who in 41 yrs hadn't had 1 day sick

Sickness levels where I work are very good, one year our boss took the ten of us out on the piss( his treat) as not one of us had a days sick in the year...but then again that's not the story people want to hear about lazy civil servants and their gold plated pensions

If there is a statistical difference, then the management up to the government should be brought to book.
