How comes there are loads in the UK but yu very rarely see them if you go abroad (well at least i divent).

Do they even exist in America or is gambling banned over there ? saying that they do have horse racing

I think it's only Nevada you're allowed to gamble in.

Very few countries have legalised betting shops on the high street the way we do, though they are increasing in numbers. Most countries also ban betting on horse-racing etc outside of Tote-style monopolies.

There's a load of them over in Sweden - but I think they are state owned

Used to sometimes pop in and laugh at the blokes on their chariots behind horses that goose-stepped their way round the track
