    Default Knife Sharpeners

Can anyone recommend a decent but reasonably priced one? Needs to be better than an old fashioned steel which is what i use. Why are some of them outrageous prices? Are cheaper ones shit?

Get yourself to b&q and get a oil stone. There's countless videos available on YouTube on how to sharpen them.

got one for my tools but never thought of using it funnily enough.Probably because it requires a bit of forethought as it's kept in the shed! will give it a go tomorrow. thanks.

Buy a ceramic knife and never worry about sharpening again. Worry about cutting the tips of your fingers off but not sharpening.
