Just because the assets were here when he arrived doesn't mean he has spent nowt does it, whether he uses new or existing money it still spending
Sick of reading about this 'he's spent nothing' shite, do you think the 33 players were free

Precisely.
Up front, he sold Kenwyne Jones so that he could buy Asamoah Gyan.
He sold Darren Bent and bought Connor Wickham and Ji Dong Won.
In midfield, he sold Lorik Cana and spent more than that on Craig Gardner.
In defence, he sold Danny Collins, and used a similar amount of money to bring in Marcos Angeleri and Matt Kilgallon.
How many of those strengthened the team?
Is he meant to get credit for ripping the quality out of the side?
Is he meant to get credit for wasting the brilliant opportunity that he had to turn quantity into quality (when he inherited a squad of 55 players from Keane)?
Is he meant to get credit for balancing the books on the basis of muddling through with 5 highly paid loan signings last year, only one of which - by far the worst of which - is still here?
Is he meant to get credit for transfers which leave us with a squad without a left back, without a left winger, or any player who has ever scored more than 6 goals in a season in it?
