Disable auto-resize images
I have noticed during a visit to the help desk that you can effectively turn off the auto mini-resize of all the images - HERE - works for me !
Or just do this, click - QUICK LINKS> EDIT OPTIONS Scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and in the "Images In Posts" select "Keep Original Size" in the drop down menu.

Saves all that clicking on thumbnails.  |

In that option you can also choose the best size for your monitor, 800 wide maximum does me. Anything above that will be automatically resised.
